From the artist: Abstract, colorful, interior landscapes from the region between my ears,’ Twixt’ also refers to the process by which the larger acrylic paintings in the exhibit were created.

In the midst of working on the paintings, I made drawings in oil pastel as a way of quickly exploring questions about color and composition. My curiosity expanded to include a number of independent drawings in that medium as well as drawing into some of the paintings with oil sticks. I hope the results of my experiments will please the eye and twitch the imagination.
