Suneeva Saldanha

Suneeva Saldanha was born in Virajpet, Kodagu, India, and raised in Bengaluru. A visual artist with a lifelong passion for drawing, painting, and crafting, she employs various mediums tailored to each subject. Often intertwining surreal elements with floral imagery to explore the profound connection between nature and the human psyche, Saldanha aims to evoke emotions and convey symbolic meanings in dreamlike, fantastical scenes.

Honing an Indian miniature style with contemporary nuances via acrylic on paper, her work delves into sensuality and human connection with vibrant colors and intricate details that are rooted in cultural influences. “I aim to create art that celebrates our historically positive relationship with erotica.”

Saldanha pursued animation studies and worked as an art facilitator before settling in Seattle to fully dedicate herself to producing art.
