This series began as a deliberate choice to slow down and pay closer attention to the everyday, the ordinary and often overlooked. And I quickly realized the beauty and intricate details of the mundane could be right at my fingertips and in my own pockets.

What started as an exercise in mindfulness also reminded me that for better or worse, the objects we carry through life are a part of what tells our story to the outside world. The series certainly doesn’t convey the complete picture of my life but tells several small stories – some of which I hope will connect with viewers.

It’s worth noting that the pockets I mention include the standard ones often built into your average pair of pants, but also include those in jackets, coats, hoodies, shirts, dresses, aprons, purses and backpacks.
