Every piece in this show is a self portrait – not in the traditional sense of representing a visual likeness – rather, each piece is a form of meditation, a journey that has taken many years to complete,
a visual record of a struggle to touch and reveal the hidden inner truth of an immigrant child whose parents are both survivors of the second world war.
This particular body of work is deeply personal, but I believe that at its core it also depicts and represents our universal need to understand and find meaning in the mystery of our existence.
