Nancy Coleman is a native of California who relocated to Seattle in 2011. A self-taught Visionary artist, she honed her skills in the decades she managed her San Francisco-based design and marketing firm. Nancy expresses her visions through a variety of mediums, including enhanced photography, encaustic and painting. Her work is informed by the wabi-sabi aesthetic, a Japanese term for embracing beauty in the humble, imperfect and transient elements of life. Nancy has exhibited in the San Francisco Bay Area, Monterey, Los Angeles, New York City and Seattle, and has works in the city collections of Seattle, Palo Alto and City of SeaTac.
