Statement from the artist: It’s not what you see, it’s how you see it.  I document the mundane and overlooked spaces of our urban environment.  You may see degradation, but I see beauty. By using a macro lens I remove the importance of the physical location and scale, creating depth where none existed, emphasizing texture and illumination, and capturing what is in plain sight.   These abstracted colorful dreamscapes are the vignettes of my experience in seeing and are presented without manipulation.
