Emmanuel Monzon
Emmanuel Monzon’s photographic images are observations of a modern landscape focusing on the outskirts of cities generally deprived of human presence.
This commonness has its own aesthetic, and speaks to our physical and mental environment, the vanishing of the separation which existed between cities and suburbs, suburbs and countryside, a process leading to an image with no defined identity.
This aesthetic of the void attempts to embrace our contemporary environment, speaking about a life in de-civilization.
